This privacy policy describes how Nami Keyboard (“the app”), published by the developer contact below, handles information on your device. This is a keyboard (input method) for Android. It is not legal advice; it reflects the app’s current documented behavior.

What we do not collect
- Typed text and editor contents are never logged or sent to the developer.
- The app has no ads, analytics SDK, developer accounts, cloud sync, or developer-operated backend.
- App code does not open its own network connections.
Data stored on your device
- Keyboard preferences, theme settings, and a local Pro entitlement/trial cache in app storage.
- Optional Pro photo background: a downsampled copy saved in the app’s private files (not the original gallery URI).
- Recent emoji use-frequency counts (local only, capped).
- These local values are excluded from Android backup and device transfer (
allowBackup=false).
On-device text use (not sent to us)
Outside password and other fields the app treats as private, the keyboard may briefly read a small amount of surrounding text only to power local features:
- Backspace may read up to 32 characters before the cursor to delete a whole emoji or flag.
- A quick double-space may read up to 2 characters before the cursor to convert to a period.
- Auto-capitalization uses only capitalization flags from the editor, not surrounding text.
In private/secure fields, those reads are disabled. Secure-field behavior also disables dictation, key previews, and related personalization features.
Permissions and third parties
- Microphone — used only for voice dictation through your installed Android speech provider. That provider may send audio for online processing under its own policy.
- Internet / network state — merged from Google Play Billing. Purchases are processed by Google Play under Google’s terms and privacy policy. The app verifies ownership locally; it does not send purchase tokens to a developer server.
- System image picker may be used to choose a Pro background photo; the app copies a processed image into private storage.
Children
The app is a general-purpose keyboard. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your region). Do not use it to submit personal data about children to us; we do not operate accounts or collect such data.
Changes
We may update this page when app behavior or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.

การใช้ข้อความบนอุปกรณ์ (ไม่ส่งมาหาเรา)
นอกช่องรหัสผ่านและช่องที่แอปถือว่าเป็นข้อมูลส่วนตัว คีย์บอร์ดอาจอ่านข้อความใกล้เคอร์เซอร์ชั่วคราวเพื่อฟีเจอร์ในเครื่องเท่านั้น:
- ปุ่มลบอาจอ่านได้สูงสุด 32 ตัวอักษรก่อนเคอร์เซอร์ เพื่อลบอิโมจิหรือธงทั้งชุด
- การกดวรรคสองครั้งเร็ว ๆ อาจอ่านได้สูงสุด 2 ตัวอักษรก่อนเคอร์เซอร์ เพื่อแปลงเป็นจุด
- การขึ้นตัวพิมพ์ใหญ่อัตโนมัติใช้เฉพาะสถานะจากช่องแก้ไข ไม่ได้อ่านข้อความรอบ ๆ
ในช่องส่วนตัว/ปลอดภัย การอ่านข้อความแบบข้างต้นจะถูกปิด และปิดการพิมพ์ด้วยเสียง ตัวอย่างปุ่ม และฟีเจอร์ที่เกี่ยวข้อง
สิทธิ์และบุคคลที่สาม
- ไมโครโฟน — ใช้สำหรับการพิมพ์ด้วยเสียงผ่านผู้ให้บริการเสียง Android ที่ติดตั้งไว้ ซึ่งอาจส่งเสียงไปประมวลผลออนไลน์ตามนโยบายของผู้ให้บริการนั้น
